Mutual Bank is recipient of Metro South Chamber of Commerce Economic Impact Award

WHITMAN, MA, ISSUED JANUARY 12, 2009 - Mutual Bank, a leading community bank with eight branches throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and on Cape Cod has been named a recipient of the Metro South Economic Impact Award, presented by the Metro South Chamber of Commerce, based in Brockton.

The award recognizes Mutual Bank's general commitment to the Metro South region and its residents, and specifically points to developments at the bank's headquarters in Whitman as "the type of investment that contributes greatly to the economic development of the Metro South region."

Representatives of Mutual Bank accepted the Economic Impact Award during the Metro South Chamber of Commerce 95th Annual Meeting Luncheon.
