Mutual Bank CEO Glen S. White Re-elected to Board of Directors

WHITMAN, MA, ISSUED FEBRUARY 8, 2010…Glen S. White, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Mutual Bank, has been re-elected to a three-year term as a director of that bank. He has served on the Board since his election in 2000.

White has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2004. Under his leadership, Mutual Bank has grown from four to nine locations and from $118 million to $368 million in assets. He joined the bank in April 1982 from Charlestown Savings Bank, and has served in a variety of roles, including Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer, President, and Chief Executive Officer.

The Reading, MA native earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Oklahoma City University, and graduated with honors from the National School of Banking program at Fairfield University, Connecticut.

White and his wife, Rebecca, make their home in South Yarmouth with two of their five children, and three collie dogs. Three grown children are pursuing careers in New York, Bridgewater, and Copenhagen.
