Edward F. Joubert Re-elected to Mutual Bank Board of Directors

WHITMAN, BROCKTON, MA, ISSUED March 24, 2010… Edward F. Joubert of Duxbury has been re-elected to a new three-year term as a director of Mutual Bank, it was today announced by Glen S. White, Mutual Bank Chief Executive Officer.

He has served on the board of directors since 1977 and is a member of the Executive Committee.

Joubert is a native of Whitman, Massachusetts, where Mutual Bank maintains its headquarters. After earning a degree in accounting from Stonehill College, he joined and eventually owned and operated Joubert's Clothing Store, a mainstay of the Whitman Center business district for sixty years. He continues to actively manage his commercial properties in Whitman, and is associated with William Raveis Real Estate in Duxbury, specializing in residential lending.

Joubert's ties to Mutual Bank go back nearly a half-century. "My first savings account was with this bank," he notes. " I have always appreciated the small-town, community flavor that Mutual Bank represents."

Joubert makes his home in Duxbury with his wife, Susan, and their two sons. He enjoys boating, coaches local baseball, and plays keyboard and bass guitar with the music ministry at Holy Family Church.
