David Mullare Re-elected to Board of Directors At Mutual Bank

WHITMAN, MA, ISSUED MAY 25, 2009 - David Mullare of Hanover has been re-elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors at Mutual Bank, a community bank with nine branches throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and on Cape Cod.

In this role, he will help guide the policy and direction for the independent, mutually-owned savings bank. Mullare has served on the Board of Directors since 1976 and also is a member of the bank's Executive Committee.

The former owner of Mullare News Agency in Brockton, he recently retired from the newspaper distributor industry following a merger with Hudson/RPM distributors.

Mullare is originally from Newton. He is a graduate of Boston College, with a degree in Marketing.

He presently makes his home in Hanover, with his wife Gail. The couple has a daughter and a son. They are the proud grandparents of two.
