This Notice Concerning Your Privacy Rights discloses the privacy policies and practices of Mutual Bank (herein after sometimes referred to as "we", "our" or "us"). When we use the word "you" or "your" we mean a Consumer Customer of Mutual Bank. If you decide to discontinue your relationship with us, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described below.
Non-public Personal Information (herein after "Information") means personally identifiable financial information that is not available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.
Consumer means any individual who is seeking to obtain or has obtained a financial product or service from us for personal, family, or household purposes.
Customer means a Consumer who has a continuing relationship with us as evidenced by a deposit account, loan account, safe deposit box, or other financial product or service.
We will tell you the sources of Information we collect about you, the Information we disclose about you, and how we secure your Information.
We collect Information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive on applications or other forms you submit to us whether in person, through the mail, or on the Internet through our website
- Information about your transaction with us, or others; and
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
We may disclose Information about you to non-affiliated third parties under limited circumstances. Any Information we may disclose, however, is conducted in strict adherence to applicable law. Such Information may include:
- Information we receive from you on an application or other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, assets and income
- Information about your transactions with us, and others, such as your account balance, payment history, credit card usage and the like
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as information relating to your creditworthiness and credit history
Except as described below under the Service Providers/Joint Marketing Section of this notice, and as otherwise required or permitted by law, we do not share Information about our Customers or former Customers to anyone.
To provide you with products or services that we believe may meet your financial needs, we may disclose all of the Information we collect about you, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institution with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
We restrict access to Information about you to those employees who need to know that Information to provide products and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with Federal standards to guard your Information
