WHITMAN, FEBRUARY 6, 2008…. Ronald N. Whitney of East Bridgewater, an attorney with a law practice in the town of Whitman, has been re-elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors at Mutual Bank.
In this role, he will help guide the policy and direction for the mutually-owned bank.
Attorney Whitney is a former Massachusetts State Representative, who served constituents in Abington, Whitman and East Bridgewater. His public service also includes a three-year term on the Abington Board of Selectmen.
For 20 years, he has maintained a general law practice, the Law Offices of Ronald N. Whitney, with an office currently located at 549 Bedford Street, Whitman. Whitney, who is originally from Weymouth, currently resides in East Bridgewater. His family is well-known in Whitman, as former owners of the Kings Castle amusement park.
His other community recognition includes having served as a member of Whitman’s Kiwanis Club for the past 23 years.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Stonehill College, and holds a Juris Doctor from New England School of Law. He is a member of the Plymouth County Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
