WHITMAN AND BROCKTON, MA, ISSUED FEBRUARY 20, 2008… George B. Maver of Brockton was recently re-elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors at Mutual Bank.
In this role, he will help guide the policy and direction for the 118-year old, independently-owned full service bank.
Maver is in his 44th year as president and owner of Maver Memorials Inc., a fifth-generation business located in Brockton which regularly makes donations to a number of area organizations, including the YMCA, the Salvation Army, the Boys and Girls Club, Handi Kids Camp, Special Olympics, and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA).,

He and his wife Joan are the parents of two grown daughters. They have two grandsons, one who is currently serving in the U.S. Army and stationed in Iraq, and one great granddaughter.
